How much does it cost for your Personal Chef Experience?

Do you include event staff for your catering and wedding planning services?

Yes we do. Our main team is Alison (Events Specialist) and Miguel (Chef). Based on your event needs and our expertise we can determine what team and support you require. We have other event professionals on our team that can lead but primarily Alison and/or Miguel is a key part of your event eexperience wit us.

Do you include tableware for your catering services?

No this is extra as we do a lot of custom work. We love to put together tablespace designs that fit the theme or are inspired by the client, the space and the celebration. This includes glassware, dishes, charger plates, cutlery and linen/napkins. If you want to go all out we can do chairs, tables, menu cards, centerpieces and backdrops. Working with other industry professionals to achieve the overall look and feel.

I have an event for 30 guests plus vendors. Can you accommodate catering more than 30p?

Yes we can. We understand things change but what we know is here to stay is small intimate gatherings and this is what we specialize in.

I'm planning a wedding for 75 guests and just need help with Wedding Planning as I have my own Caterer. Can I still inquire for your wedding planning services.

Absolutely! We would love to hear from you. Alison and her team can help plan your wedding for up to 75 guests. She will work with you, and any vendors you already have in place to make your wedding day the way you intended it to be.

I want to inquire and book with you but worried about ongoing restrictions that may not work out in our favour.

We understand. Give us a call and let's chat more about your fears and worries about this and see if we can help ease the stress you are feeling about this. We always want to focus on a solution and move forward. It's important to remain flexible during these times and keep your guest list on the shorter end to avoid potential disappointment.

We want to plan for an outdoor event, what happens if it were to rain?

You must always have a rain back up plan in the works with every outdoor event. Together we can help you work out a plan or solution when it comes to unfavourable weather forecasts. This includes rains, snow, wind, hail and heat waves.

If I book you for Catering only what kind of planning is included? Do I need to add on your Essential Planner services or is that included?

For Catering only events we include and are responsible for the Catering logistics and details of your event. If you need the help to organize and plan the details of the overall event, location, vendors, set up your personal decor and tables its best you add on our Essential Planner Package to take care of that for you.

For your platters- How soon do I need to order?

We require 36 hrs notice as it takes time to gather and prepare with fresh local ingredients.

We know you'll be perfect for our party but we are slightly over your guest capacity and just outside Simcoe County

If you are a YES to us and feeling called to have us at your celebration please reach out! We can do larger parties and will suggest some menus that support it and also charge for travel/time. We love to work with local but we also love to work with those that are a YES to having us.

Were looking for a Chef to help us prepare and cook. We may be looking to learn alongside him as well as a group experience.

Yes we offer this too and love to do them. Chef loves to cook and teach with those that have the same passion for food and may not know how. Thats OK and we can work with you on that. Inquire with us about our Empowering Private Chef Experience.

Were having our event an an Airbnb and dont know all that they have available: tables, chairs, space

Not to worry, you can always connect with the Host or we can arrange to connect with them or arrange for a site visit. Depending on where this is there may be a travel fee for time and mileage for outside Simcoe County.

Permit, Fees and Taxes

Having an event on your own property or rental? Legally it is up to the you/client to obtain at your own expense all permits (municipal or other) required. As well as any license, permits or registration fees, insurance, charges and taxes that are necessary.

We booked and paid a deposit but our plans have changed. We might need to cancel- Where do we go from here?

Not to worry, give us a call so we can discuss and find the best solution. Our deposits are non refundable but they are transferable.

How far in advance should we reach out?

The earlier the better — especially for peak seasons. That said, we understand that not every event follows a long timeline, so we always encourage you to reach out and inquire as soon as possible.

Do you only offer catering, or do you help with the full event?

We offer both. While our culinary experiences are a core part of what we do, we also support the overall flow of the event: including timing, coordination, and guest experience. We also offer services that are just primarily event coordination that does not include catering.

What’s the difference between hiring you and hiring a caterer?

A caterer focuses on food. We focus on the experience as a whole. That means we’re not just preparing and serving meals — we’re also ensuring everything flows smoothly, from timing and service to how the evening unfolds.

Will it still feel like our event?

Always. Our role is not to take over your event, it’s to support it. Everything is designed around your vision, your preferences, and what feels meaningful to you. We simply help bring it to life in a way that feels seamless.

I don’t want it to feel too formal or overdone — is that your style?

Not at all. Our approach is grounded, thoughtful, and intentional. We specialize in events that feel natural, warm, and personal — not overly produced or staged.

Will I still feel like the host, or will I be stepping back too much?

You’ll feel more like the host, not less. Instead of managing logistics, you’ll be welcoming your guests, enjoying conversations, and fully present in the experience.

What if something goes wrong during the event?

Events naturally have moving parts. The difference is having experienced hands there to handle anything that comes up — calmly and without disruption. Most things are managed before you even notice them.

Do you work with homes, cottages, or unique spaces?

Yes, and we love it! Some of our most meaningful events take place in personal spaces, where the environment already feels familiar and special. We help transform these spaces into thoughtfully curated experiences.

Once you submit your inquiry, we’ll connect with you to learn more about your event, your vision, and what kind of support you’re looking for. From there, we’ll guide you through the next steps and create a plan that feels aligned and manageable.
